The shop opened in 2008 on the commercial strip along the tracks in East Rockville, and it has stayed exactly there, with the same address, the same phone number, and for 18 years the same idea: treat every car as if it were our own, and tell the owner the truth about it.

ASE Master Certified technicians and current computer diagnostics on every job. A repair is done properly once rather than cheaply twice.
What “ASE Master Certified” means
ASE is the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, the independent body that has tested technicians since 1972. Passing one of its exams, plus the required hands-on work experience, earns a certification in that area: engine repair, brakes, electrical, and so on. Master status means a technician has passed the core automobile series (tests A1 through A8) and keeps it current by re-testing every five years.
The work at Karnon Automotive is done by ASE Master Certified technicians. The shop is also a Maryland State Police–licensed inspection station, authorized to perform Maryland State Inspections, and it keeps its diagnostic equipment current so a 2026 car gets diagnosed the way its manufacturer intended.
Explain the problem in the language you think in
Rockville is one of the most international places in Maryland, and the shop reflects it. Technicians at the counter speak English, Spanish and French, so “it makes a weird noise when I turn left” gets understood the first time.
